ARCADE FIRE

This multi-instrumental, multi-talented, award winning indie rock band, turned a lot of heads this year winning the Grammy, Juno and Brit Album of the Year. Like April Wine, Arcade Fire was not formed in Montreal (but many members of the band are here) are now based out of Montreal. Arcade Fire winning many awards this year on a international platform is great for both the music industry and city, for it will encourage more talent labels to travel to Montreal and will give an "extra push" of encouragement to all the new bands being formed in Montreal as we speak.
